This Well is turbid. They do not drink here. This makes my heart ache. If the King made a covenant, we could share this blessing together.
This is the sorrow of someone who is connected to the source of the common good but has no one with whom to share it. You are confined by a host of oppressive duties and burdensome thoughts. Do not be trapped in this pitfall. Move on. Sacrifice the old and let in the hidden connections to the new. Have no fear. Gather energy for the decisive new move.

This is my heart's sorrow,
For one might draw from it.
If the king were clear-minded,
Good fortune might be enjoyed in common.
An able man is available. He is like a purified well whose water is drinkable. But no use is made of him. This is the sorrow of those who know him. One wishes that the prince might learn about it; this would be good fortune for all concerned.
